Camping with Noisy Neighbours!

We all love going to festivals to see our favorite bands, so why does that person in the campground play music all day and night on a crappy sound system when there is world class musicians playing live music, a couple of hundred metres away on million dollar sound systems? The answer to this question I don't think we will ever know but if this is your neighbor at Shine On festival let us know at the information tent and we will get our operations staff on to them!

You may play music at your campsite but remember you are not there to entertain your neighbours with your personal music taste and cd collection. If you want to play music at your campsite, please keep it down really low as not to disturb your neighbors.

If noise from your campsite is bothering your neighbours, at any time during the festival, you will be asked to turn it down. If you continue to create a disturbance to others camped around you and ignore warnings you may be asked to leave.

Shine On festival is a BYO event!

Shine On festival is a BYO event, although we strongly discouraged excessive amounts of alcohol being consumed or brought into the event . No glass is allowed and if glass is found in your vehicle you will be asked to forfeit the bottle or otherwise you will be refused entry. No kegs that require gas bottles can be used on site. We recommend that you decant any liquid purchased in glass into plastic bottles before you leave home.

Shine On is an all ages event and we ask that you respect your neighbors and the fact that their will be children at the festival and that you drink responsibly. Cars are not to be driven around the site unless you are entering or leaving the festival. We recommend that you have a designated driver for your safe trip home from the festival.

Electricity

There is no access to electricity at the camping areas. There will be a charging point near the Info Tent where you can recharge your mobile phones or other electrical equipment
